Been a while since i last had made any character from Hubris (the book i've been working on and doing illustrations for, a personal project)
right on the beginning there was Itara, a sort of female adaptation of Voldo but the idea was soon discarded. Asile was born out of convenience for the story line and it will be a major connection point between Ginevra and the Dragon Slayers. Before Asile was born this was a secondary training costume for Ginevra but as the time past by i made the decision to skew off a little bit and think of the greater picture. You can call Asile Ginevra's long lost sister, she was a young lass when she was attacked, by a draon, alongside Martien and Tholoriens. Her father was teaching her how to use the ring blade, after the attack she was presumably dead, the last thing her parents hear was the screams and then suddenly come to a stop. She was saved by Baterius, but unfortunatly she was another one t lost her sight, Baterius trained her like he did with Ogol and Ogor, and welcomed her into the Dragon Slayers brotherhood. She later on met Joss who became her husband.
This whole concept really fell somewhat from the sky and in good hour, because it will really help me out on one of the crucial points of the plot which i'm nearing now.
Her design is simple but very pleasing. The armour in her arm is so cool *A* ~ Soft and bright colours are very lovely in your style when you paint girls
