Report a Policy Violation
For those who have many watchers, and for those who don’t have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.

it took so very long but it's finally finished
hopefully this is the last pic i'll do in a near future for Mirabell 1st version back in 2007 and my first deviation: [link] 2nd version in 2008: [link] Description "Daughter of Martien Grunt and sister to Ginevra Grunt. Mirabell was a bookworm as well as completely devoted to magic and that personality only led to a life of suffering, she studied magic and all forms of it on the Marble Tower and she quickly became a powerful magician only to be underestimated by her superiors, her powers and abilities were limitless but she was never taken seriously for being too young. The high ranked magicians gave her the title of teleporter and hired her as one for the Marble Tower to make the connections between floors. One day upon a visit from King Raziel he reads Mirabell's mind and discovers something truly unique about her as well as a deep secret she tried to hide and he by curiosity must get a hold of. King Raziel aware of her tremendous power took her from the Marble Tower and turned her into his personal adviser and main magician... they both fell in love" the rest is history and is yet to be told... finally i made a good staff for her hope she likes it  my personal comment goes as follows: in 3 years i evolved tremendously and i learned from the best and i great part i owe it all to my great gf =SeitenTaisei7 and to the support of all my watchers and friends and i always remained humble although i had my fair share of cockiness this is by far my best character not only for the storyline but also aesthetically also this was the closest i ever got to the style i've always wanted when i began digitally and yeah the break from fantasy did me wonders i think cheers  comments thoughts critiques welcome  Mirabell Grunt © Rui Ferreira Comments
 I really like the design,it's very well done, I'm not sure if I could write a full blown critique on this piece, since there really isn't too much to critique that isn't positive. I think the shading is done quite well, though I'd like to see a bit more sharpness in the piece. Especially in the hair, I'd like to see a little more depth there, like in the clothing design. I also think the left hand's position is a little odd, but that's just me. I don't think it fits well with the expression on her face.
Anyway, it's truly a great design.  Great work dude, you've nailed most of the lighting. I especially like her arms and her face (including the hands and hair). Her dress, especially where her back is, needs some attention, though. It feels flat. Same goes for her chest, but it's not noticeable.
Again, great work man. I really like your choice of colours for the shading/lighting. -- beh yeah i had some problems with the back

Great work rui!-- Do NOT eat me... I may look sweet but I taste horrible... <[>_<]>  I really like the design and all the detail, especially on the staff (as others mentioned). Overall it reminds me of some of those Final Fantasy concepts.
I'd like to point out two small things (cause I'm being in the mood for a detailed analysis now)The first is that the (I'll call it badass trenchcoat) white piece of clothing needs at least a fold or two in the waist, and in this spot it's also difficult to tell how the light falls. The second is in the area around her neck. It looks like that's her cleavage, but it's far too high to be it. And aligned in comparison to her left (viewer right) arm, the breast looks like it should be smothered by the arm (look at the distance between the viewer left arm and brast and the distance between right ones)In short, I think the cleavage should be moved a bit to the lower left, so that the breasts are not too high and are symmetrical. Yeah, that's all. Hope this comment is of use   IT LOOKS MOAR AWESOME IN COLOR! 8D

Critiques
Despite of some little things such as the breasts placed too high, according to the painting, and the back line, this deviation shows perfectly how perfeccionist you've become through the time.
To finish, the white background doesn't give an great impact to the viewer, but you know that, so you framed it with those lines that makes up for the empty space. An excellent deviation, in my opinion and a very good representative of all your work
