i dont normally do these but ever since i came across

's work I've been a bit obsessed with his colors and his lines.
it's no secret that i have always been highly influenced, inspired and obsessed with the korean painting style and drawing but sometimes it's just too far to reach, so ill go slowly, whilst trying to keep my head in place.

So i went ahead and did something i didn't do in a while, just go nuts with something, i wasn't this spontaneous in years.

it was good for a couple of reasons besides that one tho
- good exercise to get back on photoshop after a round on corel painter
- i found a good way to get something done faster which is to play with the line art alot and get some quick semi-finished concept work done and fast in like 3 hours or so.

i'm going to have a few more goes see how it plays out.

i do have some plans for this knight, where i reused a helmet design from an older character i had.

I know but its the idea behind the sketch... just look at all my stuff they are all just sketches but people compliment me all the time.

sketches can be good to launch other ideas, some sketches are good on their own, this one was just a little test for a much bigger idea xD

Quite an awesome concept. Definitely out of the box in design for the shoulders and helmet. The sword goes great with the overall look, and the whole design with the detail is quite impressive!

Personally I do love the helmet design. Looks quite sturdy and fits in well with the rest of the armor.
